Role summary

Tengu Reserve contractors are experienced management consultants who join a vetted, on‑demand roster to be deployed on client accounts across Canada. Assignments are contract‑based, variable in length, and scheduled as business needs arise. Travel throughout Canada is required. Only Canadian residents and those legally entitled to work in Canada will be considered.

Key responsibilities

  • Rapidly onboard to client teams and deliver value on scoped engagements.

  • Lead or support workstreams in one or more of Tengu’s service areas: Targeted Operating Models, Intentional Culture, Organizational Alignment, Organizational Design, Leadership Development, Systems of Work, Process Optimization, Employee Lifecycle Design, and Technology Adoption.

  • Develop practical recommendations, implementation plans, and execute them to drive adoption and measurable outcomes.

  • Coach client leaders and frontline teams to embed new ways of working and sustain improvements.

  • Travel to client sites across Canada as required and be flexible with schedules and timelines.

Required qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of consulting or industry experience delivering in one or more of the service areas listed above.

  • Proven track record of hands‑on delivery: design, implementation, execution and change adoption.

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively across Canada.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills.

  • Right to work in Canada; Canadian residents and legally entitled workers only.

Nice to have

  • Experience with performance metrics, KPI driver trees, management tools, or leader standard work.

  • Background in coaching leaders, running workshops, or building sustainable Systems of Work.

  • Familiarity implementing or enabling technology adoption to support process and operating model change.

Contract details

  • Contract, on‑demand engagements; assignment length varies by account needs.

  • Competitive daily rate based on experience and scope.
